Stranded v1.2 Patch
Stranded (Part 1) » Devlog
Stranded v1.2 patch notes.
Overview
This is a major update to Stranded, which fixes a few major bugs. There is also a new, optional hint system to help players who are feeling stuck. See below for detailed change notes.
Additional feature:
- Added an optional hint system.
Major fixes:
- Fixed a problem where the results from the surety tally during the end-of-day sequence don’t make sense if the player doesn’t have the maximum amount of surety.
- Fixed a problem that caused the time to stop displaying after waking from a nap in the captain’s bed and then trying to nap again right away.
- Fixed a problem where saves would always save to slot 1 even when playing on other slots.
- Fixed a problem where pronoun and honorific preferences are overwritten if the player changes their name.
- Fixed a bug where, if you are late in showing up for your execution, there is no way to “continue.”
Other fixes:
- Gustaph is no longer “reading from a small book” when it would not make sense for him to be reading from his book.
- Removed “grab some food” option from the mess during the evening as there was never a scene where the player-character eats dinner. Perhaps they (the player-character) are too worried about obtaining surety to find any time to eat. I don’t think I would stop for a meal if I were in their position.
- Fixed some formatting errors.
- Fixed some typos.
Other changes:
- Altered example sentences in pronoun and honorifics customization sequence.
- Added indicators so that it’s clear who the player is talking to before presenting from the DATALOG.
- Added an additional conversation with Gregory that triggers just after he’s been in the crow’s nest.
- Changed the final notes at the end of the game.
- Minor changes in dialogue and wording.
- Minor formatting changes.
